Observations as I endure, rejoice in, and daily practice unfamiliar paths to recovery: My husband is a stroke survivor. Still surely the same wonderful man I married, and now ever so new, in a refreshing kind of way. His recovery is a miracle a minute. My recovery from addiction is less miraculous, similarly difficult, and strangely, wonderfully, complementary. It is plain to us that we were meant to Be. This truth is evidenced over time as we learn His harmony.
